Simona Halep wins appeal: Reduced ban sparks court return

Simona Halep has been cleared to return to play after her four-year doping ban was reduced to nine months following a successful appeal. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled in favor of Halep after the tennis star appealed the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s (ITIA) ban.
