US accuses Turkey of interfering after voting to send troops to Libya

It was market day in Moura, a remote town in central Mali, when witnesses said Malian troops backed by Russian mercenaries descended in helicopters and opened fire on bewildered residents.

Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) said the al-Feel oil field had been shut down due to a group of people disrupting the operation. Disruptions were also reported at the Zueitina oil port.

The Turkish leader will be in Saudi Arabia for a two-day visit where relations "will be reviewed." It will be Erdogan's first visit since the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
