Israel evacuates Jewish Ukrainians from Moldova

Fleeing the horrors of war, many of Ukraine's Jewish population have fled to Moldova. From there, the refugees are being picked up by Israeli aid organizations to be flown to safety in Tel Aviv.
Israel will offer a fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine to people over 60 and to medical staff, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced on Sunday. "Israel started preparing for Omicron early on. This bought us time, which we are using to our advantage. Last week, Israel began vaccinating its most vulnerable citizens with the fourth dose of the COVID vaccine," said Bennett.
The Israeli news site is back to normal functioning after being hacked with a pro-Iran image. The incident comes as Iran prepares to mark two years since the killing of Qassem Soleimani.
As the Omicron variant of Covid-19 continues to drive new infections around the world, Israel has become one of the first countries to start rolling out a fourth dose of the vaccine. The so-called "second" booster jab is currently available to the over-60s, health workers and anyone considered medically vulnerable.
Israel's Health Ministry has recommended removing all the countries currently on an omicron no-fly list. The ministry also said Israelis should not travel to places with higher infection rates "without a good reason."

In Israel, the number of gang-related murders is soaring in the Israeli Arab community. The victims' families accuse the police of inaction, while the government has promised to do more.
