Gazprom threatening Europe with a freezing winter?

In its latest advert, Russian gas giant Gazprom is purportedly taunting Europe with a cold and dark winter as it cuts supplies. While the veracity of the video is largely in doubt, it was published by many international broadcast news channels and online. We explain the origin of the video in this edition of Truth or Fake.
