Ignorance is no excuse in law means-
Ignorance of the constitution, and not ignorance of situation.
You are not allowed to sleep with a child for instance, but if a 17 year old girl gets into the pub with a fake I.d, the court will not convict you for ignorance of the real age of a child in the club with a fake I.d.
The law does not expect you to be a spirit.
We will review and take appropriate action.
