Tour de France: Could France get its first yellow jersey in 34 years?

A 30-year-old French woman suspected of causing a massive crash by brandishing a sign during the Tour de France has been arrested after presenting herself to authorities in northern France.

A cycling spectator who caused a mass pileup has told investigators she feels ashamed of her "stupidity." She is worried about the huge public interest in her case.

Allyson Felix says she is proud of fellow sports stars speaking out on mental health issues, although more has to be done to support athletes including those with young children. Felix, 35, is now the most decorated female track and field athlete of all time at the Olympics, and no American has won more than her 11 medals, which included a gold and a bronze in Tokyo.

Cricket Australia (CA) confirmed on Friday (November 5) it has postponed the Afghanistan test in Hobart scheduled for Nov. 27 until the situation regarding the women's game in the South Asian nation becomes clearer. CA had said in September it would scrap the test if the Taliban government, which took power in August, did not allow women and girls to play the sport.

The sport's authority cited "welfare, legal and reputational risk" for the decision. Over the weekend swimming's world governing body FINA voted to restrict transgender athletes in elite women's competitions.
