Retrial of ex-footballer Giggs abandoned after charges dropped

The retrial of ex-Manchester United soccer player Ryan Giggs over domestic violence allegations has been abandoned, PA Media reported on Tuesday, after the charges were withdrawn by Britain's Crown Prosecution Service.
