Parisian amateur runners gear up for Mont Blanc ultra marathon

With only a few days to go until the Mont Blanc Ultra Trail race, pensioner Patrick Martin, at 74 the oldest participant, and pharmacist Charles de Monaghan, are busy training. The 170-kilometre super marathon which includes an elevation gain of 10,000 metres can take even skilled runners 40 hours to complete.
