Instagram Threads: 10 million sign up for Twitter rival

Threads resembles Twitter in its format, and allows users to sign in with their Instagram account. It has not been launched in the EU yet, due to data privacy concerns. Tech giant Meta officially launched Threads on Wednesday, a rival to Twitter, with more than 10 million sign ups in its first seven hours.3
