World Recycling Day: Thailand drowning in foreign plastic waste

Thailand is one of the biggest plastic polluters in the world: Some 2 million tonnes of plastic waste are produced each year in the country, and only 25 percent of it is recycled. It's estimated that at least 50,000 tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean annually.
