U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Sunday (July 8) met with Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono in Tokyo, one day after his latest talks in Pyongyang with North Korean officials.

There are an estimated 1,800 giant pandas left in the wild, mainly in bamboo forests in the mountains of China, according to environmental group WWF.
