Scores dead in Algeria plane crash

An Algerian military plane crashed near an airport outside the capital Algiers on Wednesday (April 11), killing at least 100 people according to local media.
Khalid Aydd Ahmad al-Jabouri, a senior IS leader tied to planned attacks in Europe, was killed in an unknown location in Syria by US forces.
Thousands of Senegalese took to the streets to celebrate the country's Independence Day on Tuesday, in a show of patriotism just a week after political tensions led to violent clashes between security forces and opposition supporters.
