Ecuador prison uprising leaves over 100 dead

A riot at one of Ecuador's most notorious prisons has left at least 100 people dead and 52 injured. It was the latest in a series of deadly clashes in the country's overpopulated and understaffed prisons.

A powerful explosion rocked a gas station in Russia's city of Makhachkala, located in the Caucasian Dagestan region, killing 35 people and injuring 80 others.
