Will Nigeria’s Biafra follow Catalan separatists lead?

In southeastern Nigeria, the separatist IPOB wants a referendum like the unofficial one recently held in Catalonia. But those who remember the Biafran War of fifty years ago worry about rushing into a referendum that could lead to armed conflict.

    Are you referring to a failed referendum where 40 percent voted, and the brain behind it, is currently on the run?
    But it is barbaric to kill people because of their political beliefs.

    As far as we’re in democracy we must know the majority minds of our people through referendum.
    Few politicians can’t dictate for us, they are talking as individuals.
