‘We need new approach’, INEC tells security agencies

As part of the effort to improve the work done by security agencies during elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) since 2015, the Commission has called for a different security approach ahead of the 2019 general elections.

They will elect the 90 members of the Northern Ireland Assembly, from which a power-sharing executive should be formed. These institutions were created by the 1998 Good Friday peace agreement.
