The Senator representing Osun Central constituency of Osun State at the National Assembly, Mr Olusola Adeyeye, has accused one of the airline operators in the country, Arik Air, of putting the lives of Nigerians at risk.

It is probably only in Nigeria that the monitoring agency allows airline operators to continue to fly aircrafts with overdue maintenance schedule. The NCAA leadership needs a complete overhaul if such flaws are allowed to continue unabated. How many more lives must the NCAA sacrifice before rising to the call of duty. Those who can afford to fly in Nigeria are the cream of the crop of Nigerian society. Lives must not continue to be put at risk by the ineptitude of the NCAA.
