For months, Europe has been rocked by protests as farmers decry high costs and low prices, in addition to what they call unfair competition from Ukraine, and the constraints of environmental regulations. EU elites are worried that the farmers' movement will boost anti-establishment parties in the European elections this June. The EU Commission has put forward proposals to ease the burden on farmers, but environmental groups say this is a short-term political tactic that undermines elements of the EU's own Green Deal – and will ultimately lead to more climate chaos for everybody, including farmers. We unpick this with the EU's Agriculture Commissioner, Janusz Wojciechowski.

To God, this is becoming too much for these herdsmen in Nigeria. From North to South they are there killing people as if those people don’t have souls. Will not the Military detail Air surveillance over the areas and fish them out of their hideouts? Enough has been said and these people are adamant. I think it is enough of “Medicine after death” approach of the Security agents. They won’t show up when the action is on but when there is reprisal that’s when they show up. Where is the Senator who was saying that these heartless people are foreigners? Now they have slaughtered people in Adamawa and Niger the same week. Who knows what will happen before the end of the week? My advice is that every community starts watching over their land and people.
We will review and take appropriate action.
