Famine looms in Sudan after 16 months of civil war

The war between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has caused a humanitarian disaster: Half of Sudan's population of 50 million is now facing food insecurity and famine. DW's Mariel Müller traveled to Chad's border with Sudan to speak with refugees. They shared their stories about the brutal war that forced them to flee their homeland.
