Soprano Jeanine De Bique on Cinderella and being a black opera singer

Born in the small Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago, opera singer Jeanine De Bique says it wasn't easy studying classical music growing up. But – much like Cinderella – De Bique pursued her dreams to the Manhattan School of Music and is now starring as the fairy tale princess in a fun and feminist production at the Opéra Bastille in Paris.
