Kenya taps geothermal heat to boost power

Kenya is tapping geothermal heat in the Great Rift Valley to boost its electricity production, in a bid to triple output by 2020. The valley is a geothermal hotspot, containing water that reaches 300 degrees Celsius, under a thin area of the earth's crust.
