The fight against female genital mutilation

Today is the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, a day to remind the world of the cruel, inhuman and degrading practice that deprives #girls and #women their rights to health, security, physical integrity, and life, particularly when the procedure results in death.
