Last night, in Lagos, a tanker exploded along Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, destroying facilities, as well as vehicles, at the nearby OPIC Plaza. So far, five people have been confirmed dead by the National Emergency Management Agency.

A tanker conveying 44,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) has crashed with another trailer and discharged its contents, which led to a fire outbreak on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway. The incident occurred opposite the Lagos State Fire Service Station, which led to a prompt intervention of the fire service personnel.
