Maaza Mengiste's Booker Prize-shortlisted novel "The Shadow King" is set during the Second Italo-Ethiopian War in 1935 and casts light on the women soldiers that history forgot. This Tuesday marks the start of a new phase in the November 2015 terror attacks trial in Paris.
