Set amid the snowy mountains of northern China, "The Breaking Ice" follows three young people over the course of several days as they form a brief and life-changing friendship. It's the latest film from Singaporean director Anthony Chen, whose first feature "Ilo Ilo" won the Camera d'Or at Cannes in 2013. Anthony Chen spoke to Alison Sargent and film critic Emma Jones about his work, mental health and why he's drawn to relationships between strangers.
