Portuguese stunt performer Kevin Chaves launched on Thursday (October 21) a record breaking attempt to perform his rola-bola motorbike act in 50-cities around the world, starting with London. The 21-year-old, who performs with Circus Berlin, balanced on skateboards stacked on a motorbike. "Well I performed the skateboard stunt which I balance on a cylinder, which is my act," he told Reuters.

When the coronavirus forced circuses in Mexico to close last year, one family converted a warehouse in the suburbs of Mexico-City into a gym to keep practicing their performances and to offer acrobatics lessons to local children.

Seoul's annual circus festival goes ahead with drive in audiences amid the coronavirus pandemic. Clowns juggled and acrobats launched themselves through the air above a stage in an open field as onlookers clap their hands. A maximum of 30 cars with three people in each vehicle were permitted at the free event which also streamed to viewers online.
