US President-elect Donald Trump's pick for housing secretary Ben Carson says his work will benefit 'all Americans', as he speaks to Congress during his confirmation hearing.

Ben Carson, a presidential rival-turned-supporter, has accepted U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's nomination to lead the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Trump's transition team said on Monday.

Ben Carson speaking about Hillary Clinton at the RNC asks the convention "are we willing to elect someone who has as their role model somebody who acknowledges Lucifer?" Carson was reportedly referencing writer Saul Alinsky and his book 'Rules for Radicals'.
