Apple faces life after IPhone, Samsung faces geopolitical risks

Apple Inc. generated less than half of its total quarterly revenue from sales of the iPhone for the first time since 2012, a sign the company is entering life beyond its flagship product. Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics Co. shares slid after South Korea’s most important company reported sharply lower profit amid global trade tensions and a wireless industry slump.
