Formerly a safari, the Sambisa forest, which covers an area of about 600,000 square kilometres, was captured by Boko Haram in 2013. After the Nigerian Army partially reclaimed the infamous kidnapping and killing field, the Nigerian government is now ready to restore the reclaimed forest to its old glory.
