Russian athlete Tatyana Tomashova has been stripped of her London 2012 1500-meter silver medal, the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has confirmed. The ruling comes after Tomashova tested positive for anabolic steroids in 2021 after her out of competition 2012 samples from June 21 and July 17, 2012 were retested.
