Photodynamic therapy: Flying the flag for cancer research in South Africa

She's one of the most respected scientists living and working in Africa today. Dr Tebello Nyokong has been awarded South Africa's highest honour, and has received accolades from the African Union and UNESCO for her research into photodynamic therapy and how it can be used to kill cancerous cells without harming any healthy ones. She spoke to us from Johannesburg for Perspective.
