Bayelsa flooding – homes, schools taken over by flood

Hundreds of thousands of people have been evacuated in Russia and Kazakhstan as the worst flooding in decades continues. In Orenburg, floodwaters rose higher than official expectations.

Millions of people were under extreme weather warnings in Pakistan. At least 50 people were killed by lightning and thunderstorms across the country in the last four days.

Authorities say that foreign workers have been killed in the autonomous Kurdistan region. It is currently unclear where the drones came from.
