New Nigerian animation could boost genre in Africa’s biggest film industry

Nigerian animation film, Lady Buckit and the Motley Mopsters (LBMM), recently hit the screens in a bid to promote indigenous storytelling and diversify Africa's largest film industry, Nollywood. The movie is set in the heart of the country’s first discovered oilfield site Oloibiri, and tells the tale of a self-indulgent girl who learns to navigate the intricacies of unconventional friendships and personal growth with the help of mythical creatures.
