My husband’s military Insurance policy has not been paid 10 years after he died – Helen Amodu

For many Nigerian Military Women who lost their husbands in service, the flag that covered their husbands’ coffins no longer holds the promise of a bright future.
Years after losing their spouses in active service, these widows say the insurance promised to cater to their welfare has still not been paid.
Guardian TV spoke to one of these Widows, Helen Amodu, the wife of Late Navy Captain Efe Amodu.
