Looted art: Pillaged war zones make for a lucrative black market

The international market for rare archaeological artefacts can be extremely lucrative, providing a huge incentive for looters keen to get rich quick. In recent years, wars and instability in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Egypt have seen priceless artefacts plundered. They have later turned up on the global art market.
