Journalist Valentin Gendrot's speaks about his book "Flic" (EN: Cop) (Editions Goutte d'Or), a story of infiltrating the French police force. From his training in Brittany to his assignment at a police station of the 19th arrondissement of Paris, he recounts his two-year spell at the heart of a violent universe in which he says he witnessed beatings, discrimination and racism on a recurring basis.
