Jumbo M&A debt deals dominated the U.S. investment-grade primary market this week. Bristol-Myers Squibb & IBM each sold ~$20 billion of bonds in the year’s two largest offerings. It added up making this the highest volume week in the last eight months. All this while global markets sold off on trade concerns.
