Recently, the Federal Government announced the suspension of the creation of new federal Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of education in Nigeria.
According to the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, this move was made to redirect resources to existing institutions still lacking infrastructure development, poor staffing, and low enrollments. However, thousands of students continue to seek admission into various available institutions year after year.
