Farmers harvest cocoa pods on a Nigerian farm

In the Wao-Wao community in Nigeria's southwestern state of Ondo, farmers spread cocoa beans out in the sun to dry them, a key step in the production of this valuable crop. Cocoa, the main ingredient in chocolate, is the country's leading agricultural export, accounting for 28.72% of total agricultural exports, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
