The former National Security Adviser to Goodluck Jonathan, Col. Sambo Dasuki was on Wednesday may 16, re-arraigned by the Economic and Financial crimes commission on 32- count amended charge before a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Abuja. Dasuki and three others; former General Manager, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Aminu Baba-Kusa, Acacia holdings LTD and Reliance referral hospital LTD pleaded 'not guilty' to all the charges read out to them. Dasuki’s counsel, Adeola Adedipe, holding the brief for Mr Joesph Daudu (SAN), appealed that his client is allowed to continue on existing bail conditions. Mr Solomon Umoh and other counsel in the matter aligned with Adedipe. This new charge has excluded former Director of Finance and Administration, Office of National Security Adviser, Shuaibu Salisu who was the 2nd defendant in the case. The defendants were first arraigned in 2015 on a 19-count charge, bordering on breach of trust and money laundering.
