Covid-19: EU leaders to discuss options for trillion-euro pandemic fund

European Union leaders will meet by videoconference this Thursday to discuss a new fund of over €1 trillion to help finance an economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. Several countries have tabled options for how this fund could work, with division over whether the money would be issued as loans or grants. Leaders will also be discussing if this new pot should be in or outside the EU's new seven-year budget, which is also under negotiation. Our Business Editor Stephen Carroll tells us more.
