China to raise tariffs on U.S. goods on June 1

The dispute between China and the U.S. could be set to escalate with Beijing due to raise tariffs on some American goods starting June 1. Bloomberg has also been told that China is putting U.S. soy purchases on hold in a move that’s seen as a direct strike on President Trump’s political base.
