Ex-Nigerian Head of State, Gowon, warns against another Civil War

The former head of state, General Yakubu Gowon (rtd), yesterday warned Nigerians against acts that are capable of sparking another civil war in the country, saying they must eschew all forms of violence and criminal activities.

If not for God, I will say Gowon should shut up!
So, by implication, you’re supporting the idea of civil war?
Yeah, but they’ve already allowed Britain to station troops in the country. That, I believe, was a big mistake.
On a side note, I don’t believe any section of the country should be forced by those neck dip in the looting of the treasury, and massive borrowing to pay salaries to remain in the so-called federal republic.
We will review and take appropriate action.
