Local radio joins the fight against Boko Haram

Dandal Kura Radio is Nigeria's first radio station dedicated to fighting the Boko Haram insurgency. Broadcasting in Hausa and Kanuri, it transmits three hours of programming daily to the nine million residents of the violence-wracked northeast Nigeria and Lake Chad region.
