Suspected Islamists kidnap nearly 50 women in Nigeria

The kidnappings occurred in a remote area in northeastern Nigeria, where Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province have operated. Kidnappings have plagued Nigeria for years, mostly targeting women.
