World Marathon Record smashed in Chicago

Kelvin Kiptum has broken the marathon world record after becoming the first person to run under two hours and one minute. The Kenyan ran a time of 2 hours and 35 seconds, smashing Eliud Kipchoge’s record of 2:01:09 from Berlin in 2022.
