Hit-and-run driver kills two LAWMA road sweepers in Lagos

The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), has hundreds of men and women employed as street sweepers with the duty of cleaning up the state’s roads and highways. On Thursday, two of those sweepers were killed in a hit-and-run incident. Sadly, it is not the first time.
