Why Facebook is celebrating African creatives

Facebook recently launched a global campaign titled ‘Made by Africa, Loved by the World’. The series of short films unveiled the stories of eight phenomenal creatives and small business owners from across the continent breaking ground across the world.
Among these select few were three Nigerians – Mai Atafo, Mark Angel, and Lola Pedro.
Kezia Anim-Addo, Facebook Africa’s head of communications, explains why the technology conglomerate decided to celebrate these creative.
