Hurricane Nana smashes into Central America

Tropical storm Nana slams into the Honduran island of Roatan, about 65 kilometres off the country's northern coast. The US National Hurricane Center said the storm had become a hurricane at 0300 GMT Thursday morning and issued a flood and storm surge warning for Belize.
