In this edition, Banlieue Project visits Ile-Saint-Denis and northern Paris for a glimpse of the world of wax, bazin and bogolan – West African fabrics. We meet Maimouna Traoré, who combines the colourful textiles with her design experience to give school dropouts in France a second chance.
