Rising cost of jollof rice

A pot of jollof rice is likely to become unaffordable for Nigerians as food prices continue to rise in the market. According to an SBM report, it costs between N6,000 and N7,140 to cook a pot of jollof rice (turkey and beef inclusive) for 5 people. Kano State remains the town with the highest average cost of a pot of the delicacy at N7,140.
